Marshmallow

Culinary Use: 
Thin young plants marshmallow tops can be chopped and added to salads.

Medical Application: 

Used as an ingredient in tea roots to help with coughs and hoarseness, as well as the trouble stomach digestion. Marshmallow tea has a calming effect, but can also be used to wash the sore throat, swelling of mouth and irritations caused by smoking. Boiled in a little water with the addition of large amounts of honey, flowers bring relief in cough.

Special provision: 

Tea for coughs with marshmallow root 
Pour 2 teaspoons chopped root into a glass of cold water and leave for about 6 hours, occasionally stirring. Then strain the liquid through a fine sieve or cloth. The resulting extract boil and drink in small sips.

The infusion of marshmallow on digestion and stomach problems
 
Pour 2 teaspoons chopped root with a glass of boiling water. After 10 minutes, strain the infusion and drink it without sugar.
